This genuine reversible Luri kilim rug is handwoven by Luri nomadic women in Fars province, southern Iran, using centuries-old traditional techniques. Every thread is hand-spun from local sheep wool and dyed with natural pigments, preserving the authenticity of Persian tribal art.

The double-interlocked flat weave creates two fully finished sides – both usable and displaying slightly different, yet harmonious patterns, a rare and highly prized feature among tribal kilims.

The vibrant red central field showcases two large hooked diamond medallions, the iconic Luri “Guli-Guli” motif, surrounded by smaller geometric elements in indigo, madder red, walnut brown, green, yellow, and ivory. The ivory border is adorned with colorful hexagonal göl motifs, characteristic of Luri weaving.
